Pilates Mat classes
are a method of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates to strengthen muscle, increase flexibility and improve overall health. With the help of an instructor, students tone and strengthen muscle without impacting the joints. Through a systemic practice of specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns, students develop core strength, enhance body alignment and improve muscle and mental coordination. Pilates Mat Class Through a series of mat exercises coordinated with proper breathing, the Pilates Mat class is a core strength building workout, suitable for those who are healthy and physically active, wishing to further develop their core strength and gain flexibility. This class is designed for beginners or intermediate level. Advanced students are welcome to join to further strengthen their fundamental practice. Level: Beginner/Intermediate |
